About SOFI

The SOFI is one of the most versatile brewers on the market. From brewing an espresso-like concentrate to paper-filtered pourover style brews, it can do it all.

Inspired by the South Indian Filter, SOFI takes things to a whole new level with a sleek, modern design, airflow vents to prevent stalling, exceptional build quality, precision filter holes, and a lot more… So stop using it to only make Kaapi. Most importantly, the standardisation of size and shape has made it possible for people to share recipes and use industry-standard paper filters like the Kalita 185, AeroPress XL, and Sibarist DISC 72. Aramse are extremely proud that a brewer once relegated to a small part of South India is now brewing delicious coffee for people in over 16 different countries.

The SOFI Holder

While the bottom chamber is very convenient, sometimes you want to witness the theatrics as coffee drops rain down through the filter. Use the SOFI holder to brew into your favourite carafe and monitor the progress of your brews without having to open the lid.

Who are Aramse?

Aramse is an Indian specialty coffee company and YouTube channel founded in 2020 by the married duo Namisha and Raghunath. The name comes from the Hindi phrase aaraam se, which means "slowly, with ease or comfort," reflecting their mission to promote a slower, more mindful approach to home coffee brewing. Their goal is to make coffee more inclusive and help people brew better.
